nail polish collection

i love nail polish so fucking much??? i've destashed numerous times, but i always end up with a ton of polishes lol. here's my collection!

terms

there's a lot of different finishes and types that lacquer comes in. here's a little key to what is what

base: a color that might not be the best on its own, but is a great base under sheers and pearlescents, or is the "main" texture of a polish
creme: creamy and opaque, with a glossy finish; the "classic" nail polish look
duochrome: shifts between two (or more) colors depending on angle and lighting
frost: a finish that has a... well, frosted appearance :,)
glitter: has larger flecks of glitter
hidden shimmer: shimmer that is apparent in the bottle, but is very subtle on the nail
metallic: high-shine and often reflective, like metal
pearlescent: kind of like a mix between metallic and duochrome, giving the texture of an opal or pearl
sheer: translucent when applied, often on purpose; can be built up with more coats, but often best over other colors
shimmer: sparkly, but the flecks are much smaller than glitter, to the point you usually can't seem individually micro glitter...?
